She has been in a long distance relationship
for about 18 months.
She and her boyfriend were both coming out
of abusive marriages. He had moved on in his life from his relationship,
but my daughter hadn't at that time. She felt she wasn't up to any
relationship so soon. However, he was wanting a serious relationship,
hoping to lead to marriage. She said she wasn't ready for one. She
invited him over to CA to meet us in Yosemite. This took place in Oct.
'99. She finally gave up on the idea of getting back to her ex. She was
still in love with him during most of this past year. Her boy friend has
hung on through all this upheaval.

She went to see him in England, his
homeland, last Sept. She has fallen deeply in love with him now.
However, he has a $15-17,000 debt now to pay for the 4 trips out here to
win her love, and is broken, financially. He doesn't feel comfortable
coming out here to marry her with this debt hanging over his head. He
has 2 children he must pay child support to, also. They both are closer
in their love for each other than ever, but he feels it's hopeless now,
because of the debt he owes. is there a way there could be hope for
them?
He is a wonderful man, and $ is the only
thing standing between them now. My husband and I love him dearly too,
and he us, also. It's like a relationship made in Heaven. I am sending
you a pic of them together. The photo above was taken in May, 2000, in
Yosemite, CA. PLEASE give them some hope. They met online in a chat
room. They desperately want a life together. He couldn't work over here,
because he has no work permit. It takes time.
Thank you for your interest and let's
hope it works out for Jennifer and Mark.
