She's From: United States He's From: United States On May 20, 2000 we went to his brother in laws house and we were in the swimming pool. Me and Jason were talking and I asked him," When can we get married?" and he told me, "When we have enough money." |

Then I asked him when we could get engaged
and he told me that the way he felt about me, he could ask me now, but
he didn't have the ring. I said, "The ring's not important." So he took
my hand and said, "Krista, will you marry me?" I thought he was joking,
so I laughed but he wasn't laughing and that's when I realized he was
serious. So I answered, "Yes" about 10 times...Then he told me that when
he got me a ring he would ask me again formally with the ring. So the next week me and him and his mom went to look at rings. I found one I really liked and so he sent it off to be sized. On July 21, 2000 he came to my house and took me out to eat. Then he told me to go in my room for about 20 minutes, so I did. Then he called me back in there and on the floor he had spelled out " I LOVE YOU" with my favorite chocolates. Then he popped a tape in the VCR and he had taped himself telling me how much he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, then he proposed with the ring on tape. After it went off I thought that was all. I thought he recorded himself on a blank tape. But little did I know he recorded his proposal and timed it so that as soon as his proposal went off, my favorite movie "8 Seconds" was coming on the screen. I love him so much and thought that was the sweetest way to propose. We just celebrated our one year dating anniversary September 7, 2000....and I am planning the wedding. We decided not to wait till I finished college. I am going to finish my first two years, then we are getting married and I will move to where he lives and finish my last two years while he works. He already has a very good job. I graduate in May 2001 and we plan to get married June 23, 2001... We are looking for a Photographer right
now. We already have a videographer and a caterer and florist and I have
someone making my dresses, so all we need is the Photographer and maybe
a DJ and we're all set! I am so happy. I can't wait!!!!!!!! My parents
