I met a lot of new people from around the state and went out on quite a few dates. Some were total disasters and some were fun. But none were ready to settle down.

After being in the chat rooms for some time, one person stood out. He knew the same area my parents were currently living in, and we struck up a mutual friendship. We chatted on and off for a few months which then grew into every evening. I never thought that I would actually get to meet this individual, for I was in Oklahoma and he was currently living in New York State.

Our chats became more and more frequent and more and more personal. We had so many things in common, our feelings for each other grew. Having so many failed relationships, I was afraid to admit that I was falling

He called me all during that week waiting on his last check to load up his truck and come down. He called me on Thursday saying "Good bye New York". He literally packed all his belongings into his truck and 21 hours later, only stopping for gas and restroom he was at my doorstep. I was so excited and it was a little awkward at first us having to get use to each other in person, but we connected so instantly it felt that we had finally met the person we were suppose to have been with in the beginning. We only had 3 arguments since we have been together that is a year and 1/2 ago.

He is everything that I wanted in a man, he listens to me, encourages me in whatever I want to do, helps me around the house, buys little gifts for me for no reason at all and on special occasions he showers me with love and affection, we enjoy all the same things and get along great. We haven't gotten married yet, but we mesh so well together people think that we are already married. We have recently had a child and are planning to get married soon.
