It didn't take long before we fell in love
and started to call each other. Soon he decided that he wanted to come
to Belgium to visit me. On December 4th 1999 I was waiting for Michael
to pick him up at the airport! Well, there he came out of the gate and
we looked at each other....He put his suitcases down, looked very deep
into my eyes while we both came closer to give each other a big hug and
the most wonderful kiss! Oh that was such a great moment! We had a
wonderful time together!! Monday December 20th 1999, Michael had to go back to Canada. That was a sad moment, but we had to say goodbye and hoped we would see each other again soon? At my work (I am a registered nurse) I arranged that I could get 3 weeks off! |

Well, I couldn't wait much longer and I went
the travel agency to book a flight to Vancouver! On February 12th 2000
Michael picked me up at Vancouver airport...finally we were together
again! Michael was off too for those 3 weeks so we could spent every
moment together...day and night.
We knew that we both found our true love in life! Guess what, Michael
proposed to me when I was there on holidays!! Boy, that was an emotional
moment when he asked me to marry him and put the most beautiful ring on
my finger! So, we are engaged and plan to get married next year (2001)
in the spring or summer. I went back to Belgium in the beginning of
March 2000. Goodbye again, but we knew that soon we would be together
and this time it would be for the rest of our lives.
