This story was originally put online in Sept/99 as a tribute and dedication to Jim.

It has made it's way across the world, and is featured on numerous websites dedicated to Online Love.

I no longer am in construction. It has been a little over 2 years since Jims death. I have moved forward, and have met and fallen in love once again with a wonderful man I met through the personals online.

As I said earlier in the post... Paul and I are engaged. Almost 4 years have
gone by since I ran my first personal ad. Paul was one of the responses I
received, but timing was not in our favor. In December of 2000, I was finally
ready to start dating again, and thought...hmmm.. I met 1 wonderful man
through the personals, and what the heck.

As I was browsing through them again, I came across Paul's ad, and responded, not realizing that 3 and a half years earlier, he had responded to mine. Well, he had not forgotten, and he immediately emailed me back. We chatted a few more times, and got caught up on our lives, and decided to meet. He had my heart from our first date.

The way he looked at me, his eyes, the way he listened. He has been a comfort and
an inspiration to myself and my 8 year old daughter, and has become not only
my best friend, but my confidante. Paul is a wonderful man, and has been
supportive of me in my hard times, as well as I in his. He knows of my past
relationship with Jim, and has been wonderful as a listener. I Love him with
all my heart for being such a strong person. And I long for the day that we
become one in marriage.

I believe that my angel has helped me to overcome my grief over Jim's death,
and that God and Jim sent Paul to me once again.

One of these days I will post a picture of this unique angel found by me.
